Profession of Faith
The True Church of God Ministry believes
• In one God, Creator of all things, that’s complacency in the FATHER, the SON and the HOLY SPIRIT;
• In the depravity of human nature (Romans 3:23);
• In the need for repentance and conversion to abandon the sinful life, through regeneration by the blood of JESUS CHRIST (Acts 3: 19-20);
• In the virgin birth (Matthew 1:23), the divine nature and human life without sin (John 8:46), atoning death (1 John 2:2), the victorious resurrection (Matthew 28:67) the ascent into heaven (Acts 1: 11), the intercession (Rom. 8:34) and the glorious return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for His kingdom, the last judgment (Apocalypse 22:12) and the caught up of Christians in heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:17);
• In the justification and sanctification of all believers through the atoning work accomplished by Christ;
• In water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, the SON and the Holy Spirit after confession of sins at the edge of a watercourse (John 3: 5; Matthew 3:6);
• In the baptism of Holy Spirit that God gives to all true Christians and that the initial evidence is speaking in other languages (Acts 2, l-4);
• In the he nine gifts of the Holy Spirit for the edification of the church (1 Corinthians 12, 1 – 11);
• At the Lord’s Supper which is the Body and Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew, 26, 26 to 29 and 1 Corinthians 11.23 to 31);
• In the grace of God for the salvation of man and the survival of the Work of God;
• In the inspiration and divine authority of Holy Scripture (the Holy Bible King James original version) (2 Timothy 3, 16 and 2 Peter l, 19 to 21);
• In the five ministries for the government of the Church (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Doctors: (Ephesians 4, 11);
• In the divine healing that comes through faith (Exodus 15:26 and Isaiah 53, 5).
• However, anyone without this practical faith is free to resort to medical care for his physical health.
